Twillingate
Newfoundland. The day started out raw and chilly. Strong winds, rain, HAIL. Oooh Canada, eh? Fiona with her marvelously spinning eye wasn't even on the radar...🌀🌀. We were warm and toasty inside Darwin. Soooo nice in here 🔥...ahhhh We may never be here again, and this giant rock, known as Newfoundland, is absolutely STUNNING in it's beauty. So, we made a decision to run up to the coast to the small fishing village of Twillingate, try a couple of hikes, and visit the winery. And just like that, the day turned out to be extraordinary. The sun came out, the trails unfolded before us, leading us through the soft golden peat bogs to breathtaking views over the treacherous bluerock coastline (oh me nerves!), secluded black sand beaches, and scenic coves.
